You are probably looking at a different car, which, may score differently in the lenders score card, be a different equity position. If it's the same car, it's almost certainly a worse equity position because the value has dropped every month. Other than that, many other things could influence your credit decision including but not limited to, job change, income change, time between lines of credit, line of credit coming off of your report, money down, equity position, miles on car you want to purchase, age of car you want to purchase, make of car, model of car, credit bracket change, time since open account, and so on.
